 How I got here

Let’s rewind to 2014

Let’s rewind to 2014…

At the time, I was juggling a senior leadership role in a top independent school, raising my own young children, and managing the wellbeing of 45 teenagers in a busy boarding house.

I kept pushing through — until my body, mind and heart said no more.
I hit a wall, and could no longer be the mum, teacher, or mentor I wanted to be.

That turning point led me to coaching — and everything changed.

As I rebuilt my own wellbeing, I retrained: in professional coaching, Sophrology, hypnotherapy, and teen yoga. I studied the nervous system, the science of stress and performance, and — most importantly — what really helps teenagers feel calm, seen, and supported. I felt a sense of renewed purpose in my work.

The shift was subtle at first, but students noticed. They asked what I was doing differently. And they wanted to try the same methods and tools.

I began weaving these tools into my work — and the results were remarkable.
Teens who had never come to wellbeing sessions started showing up and hanging back to ask more questions.

After sessions, they left calmer, more confident and equipped to handle their self-doubt.

Then other mums started to ask what I was doing and if they could learn too.

That was my lightbulb moment.

The truth is: parenting teens requires new skills

We train for years in our careers — yet we’re never taught how best to parent, especially with teens.

The teen years call for a new parenting model:
- That isn’t about fixing, but being very present
- Supportive, without being suffocating.
- Wise, calm, and steady — especially when situations become challenging.

That’s where coaching comes in.

Your teen isn’t broken and you don’t need to fix them. You simply need tools that help you meet them where they are, support them calmly, and feel confident in your role.

That’s what I teach.

  • With over 20 years’ experience in UK and Swiss schools as a Housemistress, Head of Wellbeing and Modern Languages teacher, I spent my career living alongside teenagers — supporting them through some of their most formative (and emotionally charged) years.

I saw what teens were struggling with first-hand and what really helped them to cope well — and what didn’t. And I noticed how many mums felt shut out, unsure, and desperate to help, but without the tools to do so.

That realisation led me to retrain. I became a certified coach and studied evidence-based wellbeing approaches including Sophrology, hypnotherapy, teen yoga and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Now, I blend all of that experience to support mums like you.

I teach calm, practical tools that help you connect with your teen, stay grounded through the chaos, and guide them through exams, big emotions and life challenges— without conflict, second-guessing or guilt.

This work is deeply personal to me — and I’m proud to be on this journey with fellow mums, creating calm, confident homes and families that thrive through the teenage years and beyond.
